This is how Chloé AW21 did natural makeup and soft waves

All eyes had been on Chloé immediately as Gabriela Hearst made her design debut on the helm of the French style home. Mixing the model’s ultra-feminine, bohemian codes with Hearst’s sustainable angle, the gathering was a composite of knitted attire, recycled cashmere, patchwork leather-based and striped ponchos, all impressed by her Uruguayan roots.

On the wonder entrance, Hearst paid delicate homage to late Nineteen Sixties hippy tradition. Styled by Holli Smith, hair was both parted down the center and ironed straight or styled into tender shiny waves. Elsewhere, fringes had been worn lengthy and shaggy, whereas afros had been left pure.

As for the make-up, Bobbi Brown’s newly appointed international creative director, Hannah Murray wished to create “particular person, sturdy, stunning hippies.” She did this by specializing in dewy pores and skin and minimal make-up to create a recent, pure look.

“We gave the women flawless pores and skin, a softly strengthened forehead and enhanced the boyish tones of the attention with a tender taupe washed on the eyelid and beneath decrease lashes,” says Murray. “A barely weathered flush was given to cheeks and lips.”
